What We Do

Recclesia Stained Glass is an outstanding specialist glass studio, offering expertise in the conservation and repair of historic stained and leaded glass, alongside the design and creation of new stained glass and leaded lights. We have worked across the UK and internationally.

Recclesia is capable of undertaking large-scale stained glass and leaded light contracts. We are the go-to company for architects, most major UK contractors, and clients with whole-building conservation projects which include historic glass.

Who We Work With

The principal element of our work is ecclesiastical stained glass conservation and commissions, but we also undertake large commercial projects. We work for a number of conservation organisations such as English Heritage, Cadw and the National Trust, as well as for Church Councils, many conservation contractors and major UK contractors.

We have previously partnered with several major companies to deliver specialist works packages as part of infrastructure and transformation projects for organisations including Lendlease, Laing O'Rourke, Willmott Dixon, Stanhope PLC, Keir, McAlpine and Galliford.

We also complete a significant amount of complex conservation work every year for national heritage guardians such as English Heritage, Cadw, National Trust, building trusts and charities.

Why Recclesia Stained Glass?

Our studio and site staff are academically and professionally qualified in quite a range of specialist areas such as glass conservation, architectural glass, art & design, illustration, 3D design, glass production and metalwork, as well as having traditional practical skills. We also have an outstanding reputation for project management and delivery of projects on time whilst allowing no compromise on conservation standards.
